The workshop will begin Sunday night at 6:30 pm at which time participants will construct small telescopes, learn to use tools to identify constellations and other objects in the sky, and participate in an evening observing session.
Monday - Thursday will run from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am until about 1:00 pm. The majority of activities will take place in Daktronics Engineering Hall (#22 on the campus map) located on 8th Street between 12th and 13th Avenue. Sunday will begin in DEH 269.

There is a planned break each morning (M-F) and afternoon (M-Th) with lunch provided on campus. Check the Meals page for information on the locations of meals each day as it may vary.

During the workshop, participants will work to connect existing activities and develop new activities to integrate astronomy materials into their math and/or physical science classrooms. Please click on the links below for access to materials and handouts from each day of the worskhop.
